Tony Howard

Tony Howard

This is in memoriam for The family of Tony Howard of Barwel

Who sadly passed away on the 26th of April 2010

He leaves behind his Brother Paul and his sons Lee, Carl, Ian and Alex

Tony you will be sadly missed by all that knew you and also those that raced against you

We are born from the Earth and we return to the Earth

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in
hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

I did not want it easy God,

But I did not contemplate

That it would be quite this hard,

This long, this lonely.

So, if I am to be turned inside out,

And upside down,

With even my pockets shaken,

Just to check what’s rattling

And left behind,

I pray that you will keep faith with me,

And I with you,

Holding my hands as I weep,

Giving me strength to continue,

And showing me beacons

Along the way

From Pam

To my Dearest George

I miss you more than I can find words for, you left us so suddenly as though God was in need of another good mechanic. I miss our trips out in the car, I miss our holidays together I miss hearing your laugh and seeing your smile. George you were always my shining star, always there to help me. Yet I know that you are always with me. You will always have a special place in my heart until we meet again by the gates of Heaven.

Your ever loving wife Pam

Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away; for I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. This is indeed the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day.'

I did not want it easy God,

But I did not contemplate

That it would be quite this hard,

This long, this lonely.

So, if I am to be turned inside out,

And upside down,

With even my pockets shaken,

Just to check what’s rattling

And left behind,

I pray that you will keep faith with me,

And I with you,

Holding my hands as I weep,

Giving me strength to continue,

And showing me beacons

Along the way

To becoming new.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF

CALLY MATTHEWS

In loving memory of Cally Matthews who fell asleep on the

20th of July

Loving mum to Jazmaine Willow

And loving partner to Paul lockett

A dear friend to Sharn-Mari Harriet Luke-Harper

Cally you will be sadly missed by all your

Friends and colleges from the First Great Western

It is always hard when someone so young with so much to

Give is taken from us. At times like these we must remember

All the good things that have happened, all the happiness and joy

That Cally has brought to us.

Let us watch over her Daughter and guide her through life so that

The memory of her loving Mum may continue.

We all have a place in our hearts where our loved ones live forever

God of all mystery, whose ways are beyond understanding,

lead us, who grieve at this untimely death,

to a new and deeper faith in your love,

which brought your only Son Jesus

through death into resurrection life.

We make our prayer in Jesus’ name.

Amen

In Loving memory of

Andrew (Andy) John Baxter

Who was born on the 5.06.1973 and who fell asleep

On the 13.09.2009

He leaves behind his Mother Cindy, Father Dave Baxter

His older brother Paul and his Sister Pauline

He Also leaves behind his cherished brother Rob and His wife Donna

He lives on in our hearts and we must remember all the good times

That we have shared together, we must remember that though they have gone

In body they are still with us in spirit we cannot see them but they never leave us.

Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your son “Andy” whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant him light, happiness, and peace. Let him pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard him from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise him up with all Your saints. Pardon his sins and give him eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

In eternal memory of

Sharon Lewis

Who was born on the 29.09.1969 and who sadly fell asleep on the 30.06.2009

Sharon leaves behind her loving sister Donna and Husband to Donna Rob

It is always hard to find words at times like these when someone who was

So young and had so much to give is taken from us. We must remember though that

They will always be with in our hearts as love never dies.

There will come a time when once again when we will all be reunited

With our loved ones

Merciful Father and Lord of all life,
we praise you that we are made in your image
and reflect your truth and light.
We thank you for the life of your child Sharon
for the love he received from you
and showed among us.
Above all, we rejoice at your gracious promise
to all your servants, living and departed,
that we shall rise again at the coming of Christ.
And we ask that in due time
we may share with our sister that clearer vision,
when we shall see your face in the same Christ our Lord.

Amen

This is in memory of

Roy Cave

Who sadly fell asleep on the 6th of October, 2009

Roy was born on the 21st of June 1946

He will be sadly missed by his dear sister Joan

And all that knew him both at work and in the community

Trains and cars were Roy’s main passions and could sometimes

Be found train spotting or visiting Historic Railways

The passing of a loved one is never an easy concept

But we should all be rest assured that they will always

Be with and near to us.

O God, who by the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus

Christ destroyed death, and brought life and immortality to

light: Grant that your servant Roy., being raised with him, may

know the strength of his presence, and rejoice in his eternal

glory; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one

God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
